Not sure what to say?

Prof. Ziring's writings were of inestimable use to me as a journalist in gaining an understanding of the true nature of Pakistan. It is incredible how there continues to be so much media distortion on this topic, when such errors could be avoided by a reading of "Pakistan: At the Crosscurrent of History." His work continues to inform my own writings, and will be of great value amidst the current world crisis for many years to come. A scholar of the first rank.

I am Wasif, I had met him a number of times. First time in 1956 in Peshawar and later he called on me at Pakistan Military Academy at Kakul in 1957. My father who taught at Columbia was very fond of him. And please accept mine and my family's heart felt condolences on his passing away.

I had Dr. Ziring as an undergrad at WMU, and always enjoyed running into him in later years. He was also a true friend of the Kalamazoo Chapter of the United Nations Association. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. My thoughts are with you and your family

Leona, Sorry to hear of your loss.

Larry was a stand-up guy. He was a mentor to our son. A great husband and father. Though I was not a student it was obvious he taught by sharing all he knew in a gentle manner. And he loved dogs. You will be remembered by us for the length of our lives. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
