My pleasant memories of Leah Chase remain the same. Even after all the time since her death, she still leaves a lasting legacy.

My deepest sympathies goes out to the Chase Family. Your mother had the heart of gold and the sprit to match. She will be missed. /we are grateful to have knew her and have her bless you with her cooking. I will never forget the smile at the window of Dookie's .

I had the pleasure of meeting both her and her husband we were members of the same church. I also had the pleasure of singing for her funeral. I am a member of St. Peter Claver's choir. Mrs. Chase was one of my idols. I have such a passion for cooking. Always trying something new and experimenting different things. She will be missed dearly. And to the family I will be praying for you all. But know she leaves a wonderful legacy behind.
