Not sure what to say?

I met Leah when she took a Women's Studies class from me at Washington University. She was hungry for something new in her life. Leah Friedman, my dear aunt - the person who influenced my life the most, has passed away. Leah was my first role model who made me fall in love with virtues. Who taught me that being a person of values, integrity, and creativity is the right way for me to be and set me off (unintentionally) on the spiritual path. She introduced me to the America I love. Leah was wise and wonderful. We were classmates at Pacifica from 1997 to 2000. She hosted many powerful dinners, salons, and rituals. I feel very grateful to have Bern her friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Love you, Leah.

Leah was teaching at St.Joseph's Institute when I was in my first year of teaching there. She was so kind and encouraging to the students but also to me. She taught me how to understand kids and love them, how to understand life and love it, too. Leah is still the person I want to be when I grow up. She is in my heart everyday. Kay Walsh
