Leah Crafton Hale, 60, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, in the Archer City Cemetery with Bobby Brown of Wichita Falls officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Leah was born September 8, 1957 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to William Crafton III and Millie Lawson Crafton. She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama in 1975.
She and David Hale had been married for twenty-two years. Leah was the Warehouse Coordinator at Land O’Lakes Purina in Fort Worth for nineteen years.
Leah loved raising and caring for chickens, doing handiwork and shopping at Home Depot and Lowes.
Preceding her in death, was her father, Colonel William Crafton III.
Survivors include her husband, David Hale; mother, Millie Lawson Crafton; brother, William Crafton IV and his wife, Gail; stepsons, Tommy Hale, Mark Hale and his wife, Ashley; step-grandsons, August, Henry and Luke Hale and Thomas Smith; sisters-in-law, Leslie Hale Kajs and Sue Hale Siebens; niece, Alura Crafton Cash; great nephew, Malachi Crafton and Mireya Cash and many friends.
