Leah Lacy Obituary



Leah Elizabeth Lacy Leah Elizabeth Lacy went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 51 years old. Born and raised in Austin, she graduated from Anderson High School and the University of Texas. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and the San Antonio Junior League. She is survived by her father, William Lacy; brother, Jim Lacy of Austin; daughter Bethany McCrum, and son Jacob McCrum of San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her mother Joan Lacy. Leah was known for her great faith in the Lord and her joyful spirit. Through this ordeal she touched many lives with her emails on hope and faith. She was an accomplished writer, artist, interior designer and mother. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23rd at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2007 at First Evangelical Free Church, 4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd. The family wishes to convey our heartfelt appreciation to the loving and outstanding care Leah received at Hospice Austin's Christopher House, 4107 Spicewood Springs Rd, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78759.
