My mother, Leah Janet, was the mother of 8 children. The amazing thing about this, is that she was able to be nurturing and supportive to all of us. My mother found time to be creative and was an expert seamstress and knitter. I am proud to be the daughter of such an awesome woman. Mom, You really understood that we were all different, had different needs, and I feel as though you always understood what I needed. Thank you mom for being a great mom and a great role model.

I met Janet in 1982 when I spent a year in the Santa Clara area. We were instant friends and have stayed connected by cards & letters since. In 1995 I visited Janet & Dan in their home. Her family was her joy - she was a joy to know.

You weren't just my mother but my best friend. The one consolation is that I know you're in a better place now and you're at peace. I love you mom and I'll miss you immensely.

Janet attended Sacred Heart High School in Quincy Massachusetts. Her High School yearbook sums her up in these words " ...Her friends are infinite... and only the fact that she is Janet accounts for this infinity. To know her is to love her, and to love her wholesome good nature." This has been true for Janet through her entire life. We love you Mom may you rest in peace and know that your children and grandchildren will be here on this earth striving to carry on your legacy of...
