Leah was a very good friend of my mother, Donna Hellwig. They worked together in the school library at the Annex in Leadville. Leah was a quilting mentor, and a travel buddy for educational trips or extended bicycle excursions. Their friendship lasted until my mom passed in 2018. Worked at the Library in Leadville Colorado with Mrs Schuster for a few years !!! She was a very special person and a great boss .. the students loved her.. I actually babysat her boys a few times when her and her husband would attend functions in the community and school activities ... she would tell me "when they take a bath remind them to be sure to use the soap !! " after I had children of my own I understood why she told me that !!! The world will miss this wonderful lady !!! R I P ...
