My heart is sadden as I read the passing of my dear friend. Had I known of her being ill I would have walked a100 miles to get to her. We started out working with the elderly at the Lexington Housing Authority some 20+ years ago. She open a many door for that population. She taught me a lot and she always said I taught her things that she never got out of the many books she had read. I always told her learn and remember the clients names...that starts the trust process...SHE GOT...

I met Leah through a friend and I immediately knew she was a special person. She loved her boys and her friends. I am saddened by her passing and send my condolences to her family. She and I had good talks over the years and I will miss her love of life.
