Not sure what to say?

November 22nd 2012 I last posted a message about you. Its coming up to 12 years later now and you will be 31 years old, just like my family friend David who passed away from the same illness in 2011. He would have been 36 years old. I asked him to look out for you in Heaven, Leah, and I know you will be a good friend of his. It must be still hard for your family and friends to cope knowing another year has passed without you. This was your life path Leah, who knows why it was, but I guess...

Ken, Tina and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember the bright, cheerful young girl who played guitar and sang at Greg's a few years back. She is now in heaven with John and Libby, finally free! Dawn's pre-school, The Shanahan Learning Center will be making a donation in Leah's name to Children's Hospital. Keep the faith. Love, Brian, Dawn, Jarrod and Derek Shanahan

So sorry to hear about your beautfiul daughter Leah, gone so soon but love never goes, she will be there with you, today tomorrow and eternally. My heart breaks for you all. Our David will make a special place next to him and look after her, I know it. God Bless you all and keep you safe

Ken and Tina, I remember Leah as a little girl and that her name reminded me of Liana's. I can only imagine what a painful this time was for you and pray for your strength. I know you shared great joy as a family and hope those memories will bring you comfort. My thoughts and love are with you. Diana Harotian

I didn't know Leah or any of you, but seeing her beautiful smile I had to express my sincere sympathy for your loss. She is an angel now watching over all of you. May memories bring you some comfort and eventual peace.

Love you Leah! A beautiful service in your honor! you have obviously made such an impact on the world!

Hi Leah,

I just wanted to say thanks for everything. You were a truly amazing person. I'll never forget you. Never. <3

Hi Le,
Today was your funeral and I cannot tell you how proud I am to have known you. You saved my life in so many ways. You taught me how to be strong, and for that I am forever thankful. You have changed so many lives around you and you will never be forgotten. It's never goodbye, it's I'll see you later. Save a spot up there for me next to you. I'll bring cupcake mix:)
Love you to the moon and back.
Always,
Raven

Words can not express how I feel. The turnout at the wake was unbelievable. Hopefully you will find some comfort in the fact that Leah touched so many lives.
