Martin Funeral Home - Warrenton Obituary

Mrs. Leann Michelle Davis (nee: Kopmann) of Truxton, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1988 in Washington, MO to the late Donny and Sheila Kopmann (nee: Schroeder.) Leann had reached the age of 35 years.

Leann was united in marriage to Neal Davis on September 24, 2011 in Warrenton, MO at a family farm and spent 12 wonderful years together.
To this union, four children were born, Colton, Gus, Hazel, and Nate.

Leann was a loving and devoted wife and mother, always supporting her children in all they ever wanted and needed or being beside her beloved husband, Neal in a deer stand or on a fishing bank. She loved spending time with her family at the Kopmann family farm in Treloar and never missed a family event. Leann had an unreal zest for life, always positive and bringing a smile and a little bit of sass. She had a genuine desire to make others happy and had an excellent ability to make friends always feel like family. Leann was always giving of her time and loved to volunteer and help others. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and very involved with the Holy Rosary Catholic School PTO where her children attended. Most of all spending as much time with her family as she could is what meant the most to her. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin and dear friend to many.

Those whom are grateful for having shared in Leann's life are her beloved husband, Neal Davis; her loving children, Colton, Gus, Hazel, and Nate Davis; her dear step-mother, Sherry Kopmann; dear daughter-in-law of Dennis and Kathy Davis; her cherished siblings, Eric (Sarah) Kopmann, Jacob (Rachel) Abel, and Megan Abel and fiance', Jeff Nordwald; dear sister-in-law of John (Liz) Davis and Nikki (Adam) Strunk; treasured nieces and nephews, Luke, Sadie, Callie, and Cara Kopmann; Maddie, Ethan and Lilly Davis, Mykenzy Benedick, Lia Witt, Logan Witt, Parker and Henry Strunk; and Blaine Nordwald; loving grandmother, Doris Kopmann; she is preceded in death by her parents, Donny and Sheila Kopmann; her grandfather, Merlin Kopmann, and grandparents, Elroy and Virginia Schroeder,  and a host of many other relatives and dear friends.

A visitation for Leann will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 3:30pm - 8:30pm at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton with a Celebration of Life Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00am Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Davis Children's College fund in honor of Leann, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383. Not sure what to say?

Very sorry for everyone’s loss. I lost my brother in his fight against cancer in 2020, so unfortunately I know how hard this is. God will raise us up, we will never understand why our loved ones are taken so young, but know that God gets through the darkest of times. I worked with Eric at MFA.

The employees at the City of Foristell got to know Leann through our work. We are truly sad to see her depart life so early. She will be missed. May God bless you and your family.

To the Davis and Kopmann Family,
There are no words that can explain how sad I am for all of you.
I loved Leann's mom and dad. Remember seeing Eric n Leann at Suttons Ball field. Leann was precious as a child and grew into a beautiful young woman.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Praying you find comfort in God's hands.
