Not sure what to say?

Leanne was a dear friend of mine all through grade school at Nativity, and then at the VIZ for high school. My earliest recollections of Leanne are happy thoughts of playing at her family home in the big apartment on Walnut and West 11th Street in Dubuque. We were in Girl Scouts together too. Many of Leanne's friends have kept us in touch with the happenings in her life. It's sad that she had to deal with so many life challenges so early in life, but she handled them all with dignity, faith...

I remember my freshman year at the Viz and meeting Leanne. She was a beautiful girl both inside and out. Leanne and I were instant friends. I use to go sunning on the rooftop of the Hansel home on Grove Terr. We would burn while Jeanne Kolck Bender would tan.
Your dad and I went through elementary school at St. Joe's together. I was at their wedding in Dubuque and thought they were the most beautiful couple I had ever seen.
I just wish I could have told Leanne how much she meant...

Sending my thoughts and prayers your way. I attended high school with Leanne for three years. She was that special kind of person that one remembers forever.

Leanne was a classmate of mine at Nativity grade school and the Academy of the Visitation high school, both in Dubuque, Iowa. She was always fun-loving, enthusiastic and sweet.
I was sorry to learn of her death and send prayers of support to her family and friends.

I went to highschool with Leanne at the Visitation Academy in Dubuque. I had no contact with her since 1965, but remember her as a fun-loving, always positive young woman, with a million dollar smile. After graduation, she and I worked together at the Dubuque City Hall, she as a switchboard operator and I, in the Water Dept., and we had such good times together. I'm sure you were blessed to have her in your lives and I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

John,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know you will miss your mom greatly. I remember when my own mother was at Providence and you were there and how you took such great care of her. I thank you - I lost my mom last July -

Ricky was so sadden to hear about your mom. He remembers when you guys went hunting at the pasture next to our house and working out with your brothers at the gym.

Again, we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time and...

We didn't know Leanne well, but know she was a remarkable person. We have kept her and all of your family in our prayers for some time now. Let your sadness turn to joy knowing that she is basking in the glories of heaven.
With much love, Barbara and Ed Bridges

We are o sorry for your loss. Leeanne was a great lady and I rejoice that she is now seeing Jesus face to face.
