Not sure what to say?

Dear Shirley and family,
Marlene and I are deeply saddened to hear about Lees passing. Knowing Lee was an adventure in itself. From the Adventure Club to the Gourmet Club, on and off the Golf Course, as a professional business person, a husband, father and a grandfather, Lee was a person who knew how to lead when he didn't know where we were going, knew what was in every receipt that we ate, always kept score with a pencil that had an eraser, always had words of wisdom for the friends...

Dear Benz family,

I am very saddened to learn of your loss. Like the many friends that have left a note of condolence, I too only have very fond memories. It is hard to think of a memory of Lee where he didn’t have a big smile on his face.

He was one of those fathers that always gave a little extra when one of us kids needed a hand. He celebrated our victories, and shared our disappointments like he was one of us. It always seemed to me that he had life figured...

Dear Shirley, Rick, Karen and Cheryl,

We were out of the country last week when we learned the sad news of Lee's passing, and were so sorry to miss his funeral.

He was one of the people we most enjoyed seeing at Benz events. And, whenever we had an insurance-related problem or question, we could always count on his knowledge and reassurance to help us through it.

Lee will be greatly missed! May he rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the prayers and love...

Dear Rick,
So sorry to hear about your father. My condolences to you and your family.

Rick and the entire Benz Family,

My prayers to you all. Your father was a terrific person and a class act in all aspects of life and business. For everyone who had the fine opportunity to know him, we all are better off because of it. He will be truly missed.

Dear Mrs. Benz, Rick, Cherie and Karen,

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Benz. I have so many fond memories of all our families at Willow Bend and Mr. Benz with his great smile. He helped raise a terrific family. My prayers and thoughts of comfort are with your family.

My condolences to the Benz family now in their time of sorrow. Lee and I graduated from high school together. I went into the Air Force in 1954 and never returned to Western New York to live but I visited family there on many occasions. I always tried to visit with Lee because he was a joy to be around and he always kept me informed of the past events that he thought would have been of interest to me. He will be dearly missed by many of his long time friends. May God Bless his family and may...

Dear Benz Family,
I am so sorry to learn that your father has passed away. I remember your dad from the Willow Bend years! He always had a smile on his face & he was always in a good mood!
May the comfort of friends and family be your strength now and in the days ahead.
Please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts, Hillary & Dick Ruh and Larry Raub & Chris Raub

I am so sorry to read that you have lost your dad, Alice. My prayers are with you and your family.
