Lee E. Craig, age 64 of Elwood died June 15, 2007 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville after a brief illness. He was born May 13, 1943 in Elwood, Indiana. He worked for Guide Lamp in Anderson for 33 years where he was a supervisor before retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Aroma United Methodist Church. He was a 1961 graduate of Frankton High School. He was a member of the American Legion in Frankton and Anderson, Past-President of the Elwood Lions Club, Past Exalted Ruler of the Elwood Elks Lodge # 368 from 1984 to 1985 and Tipton Moose Lodge. He loved NASCAR and fishing, he was an avid Dale Ernhart fan.

Suriviors include: Mother – Illa Jeanne (Hester) and husband Bruce Gage of Elwood; Wife who he married October 20, 1978 – Sue H. (Humerickhouse) Craig of Elwood; 2 Daughters – Nikki and husband Anthony Morris of Orestes and Jana Craig of Anderson; Brother – Lindon and wife Ann Craig of Muncie; 3 Granddaughters – Kaleigh Morris of Orestes, Gen`e Milton of Anderson and Cole Morris of Orestes; Nephew – Alex Craig of Muncie; Several Nieces and Nephews; All of his friends at My Favorite Place in Elwood, Bernie’s in Frankton and American Legion in Frankton and Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father – Gilbert H. Craig

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Gary Elston of the Aroma United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Elwood Elks Lodge # 368 will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Aroma United Methodist Church through the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the Craig family at www.copherfeslermay.com
