Not sure what to say?

Lee and Luci and their children were such an important part of my early years on Oahu from 1982. Their Love and Aloha and examples of public service have made a difference in my life for sure. Facing adversity and grief only made their bond stronger. Now with my Love and Aloha and we all honor Lee´s life and hold Luci and kids and their kids close in our hearts

Our sincere condolences and prayers to the Donohue family. Thank you for your incredible contributions and service to our communities and people.

Our condolences to Aunty Lucy and the Donohue family. May you be blessed with recovery love, Nakashima Families

It is with our deepest sympathy that we extend our Aloha to Mrs. Donahue & her Ohana on behalf of our father The late Gillie C Silva Sr. Who worked with Mr. Donahue when they both were at Pearl City Station, behind the old Pearl City Tavern,( back in the good old days.) our dad had great stories of them back then and great respect for him. Now they can reminisce together once again. A Hui Hou ~ The Silva Ohana

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. Lee was a great leader in everything he undertook. We'll miss seeing him at Roy's Hawaii Kai but he'll remain in our hearts forever.

Aloha Donohue Ohana! Chief, Coach , Sensei! Lee was my high school football coach. He treated all of us like his kids. The entire coaching staff was pretty much Police Officers. They were the best mentors and coaches. He will be missed !!

Blessed to have the honor of serving with him. Will remember his leadership and kindness.

I had the pleasure of working for then LT Donohue in the late 70's in the Narcotics Section of HPD. He was a great boss and mentor and treated us all like family. My condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Donohue and the Chief's family.
