Not sure what to say?

I spoke with Lee just before his surgery, however I did not have his daughter's information to follow up. In the meantime I am fighting pancreatic cancer and perhaps distracted. I had the pleasure to stay with Lee and then his son--in-law at Ashton Magna. I spoke with his daughter Alexandra Foley on the phone one time but unfortunately did not exchange information. Alexa if you would like to connect. Tom O'Hara 901-301-5143 I am bad about keeping my phone with me. So, leave a voicemail...

Already a year-plus since Lee charged off on that great horse in the sky. But he is here as real as always in my heart. For 43 years, he had opened Aston Magna to my father Ivo Lederer, my father's companion Kitty Carlisle Hart, and to me and all my family. He told me more times than I can remember, "Aston Magna is your home, too. Come and go as you please. If I'm not here, just talk to Pete (the caretaker)." And it was indeed like a second home. Dozens of visits, including two months one...

Lee was introduced to us by our good friend, Judy Ney about twelve years ago. We became one of his investors, but he also became a good and reliable friend and investment advisor. His knowledge and overview of government owned commercial real estate was extraordinary. We shared many of his passions in music and the magnificent scenery in the Berkshires, during the years when we had a home in North Western Connecticut. Lee was such an interesting individual with such diverse interests. We...

Lee was like an older brother to me for 40 years. And he was my father Ivo's closest friend. He opened his home to us, so many weekends, holidays, and one unforgettable winter spent by the fireplaces at Aston Magna. We smoked cigars and rode horses together and shared visits in Berlin, Dubrovnik and London. No one I ever knew took life in their teeth the way Lee did. Thank you, Lee. And then thank you again.

This one hurts a lot. What a loss of a great passionate man.. May your humble soul Rest in peace .

Lee was an amazing person who led such a full and adventurous life. He gave so much of himself and will be sorely missed.

Lee was an adventurous riding companion for many years and the anti-hero of a novel of mine THE STONE BABY. He was inspirational at the time a male muse

We're so sorry to learn of lee's passing. We met him in 2000 as he rode his house through our property in great Barrington. Quite the gentleman. We will miss him. Junior and Craig Vickers

Abidingly cordial, generous and cultivated, Lee was a memorable personality to associate with. Many in the Berkshires will miss him.
