I am glad that I was able to be there to support you guys and honor your father last Friday. I wish so much that there was more that I could do. We will be lifting you up to the Lord and praying that you will find comfort and love in Him more each day.

Lane & Amelia: Iwas sadden when I received the message of Leons death. I had just had a long conversation with him and we laughed like always,and talked of our memories. He had a heart as big as Texas,and I will never forget the care he gave to my Mother during her time of cancer.. He is one of my long term best friends. He was,as you know,so talented and I will miss my long time friend, but will never forget all the memories we shared since l966. He is in a beautiful place. Beth Baxter Anderson

Dear Lane and Amelia....Amidie just called to tell us how absolutely beautiful and touching the service for your dad was and how she enjoyed all of your friends who gathered at Aunt Marilyn's. We were so sorry that it wasn't possible to be there, but our thoughts and prayers were with you and will remain with you. Please know that we're just a phone call away and that we love you very much.

I am so blessed to have known Lee and to have been able to call him "friend". God surely will have a most talented artist to help Him paint the sunrises and sunsets that will enrich our lives forever. Whenever I see an eagle, I will always remember Lee! God Speed, Lee.
