Not sure what to say?

Professor Lee Green at Baker University was the single best educator I have ever encountered in my life. When I second guessed my major and I had no one else I went to him. I was on the verge of a crisis and he just flashed that ginormous smile and said it's going to be okay! We talked it out and guess what, it was okay! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and he even gave me a reference for a job that I ended up getting. Professor Green is one of the best human beings I have ever met, and...

Never married ?

I never saw Lee after high school. But, I would like to share this. Lee was like an oasis in High School when you were around him. He was a Giver not a Taker. He was always respectful and very very full of life. He was courteous and kind. He was not afraid to take on what was put in front of him. He didn´t have the athletic ability of an All-American but he sure had the All-American spirit. That´s for sure. Lee had to have been one of the best students in our class. Lee and Rickey...

I was a shy, quiet, awkward girl at Nall Hills Jr High and I remember Lee would always ask me to dance at those awful junior high dances. Thank you Lee!

I went Nallwood Jr. High and Shawnee Mission South. Lee was very smart, took school very seriously. Lee was super friendly, easy to know and get along with. He and I used to play a lot of one on one basketball. We would talk about girls during those games. I was really looking forward to seeing him at 50 year reunion. Condolences to his family.

Dr. Lee was my academic mentor and professor during my time at Baker University. When I switched majors (for the 3rd time) to business at BU, he made it easy for me to make the switch. He is one of the reasons why I was able to get my degree from BU. His classes were fun to attend and his teaching style kept you engaged. He was really a great person to talk to and really knew his stuff about business. Very fortunate to have known him.

I worked with Lee at Baker University for a couple of years right before he retired. He is one of the most positive people I have ever met. He had great passion for teaching and had so much enthusiasm. I loved talking sports and law with him. It was always a joy when he would stop and visit on his way to his office. He will be missed dearly.

Lee touched more lives around the country than can be counted. I was one of many in the NIAAA (national interscholastic athletic administrators association) who was fortunate to be influenced by his servant leader example. When you mention the name 'Lee Green' among the thousands who have been involved in our association positive remarks such as: Legend, icon, leader of legacy, and one in a million are some of many words mentioned. This time of year (even in less than ideal health) Lee...

Unfortunately I had already graduated from Baker University when Dr. Green arrived. When I became a staff member at Baker, Dr. Green and I had many conversations about baseball and sports. Later my daughter had him in class and went to Normandy on one of his interterms. He always asked about my daughter in recent conversations. Truly a jewel of a human being. He will be missed.
