Thinking of Lee and her family with love

Missing you

Thinking of Lee.... so glad I knew her.

I only knew Lee in high school and was very fond of her--she had great energy. I hadn't seen her since, and regret that I didn't know she was even in the area! Sending you big love and hugs, Lee!

This is a quite untimely death but the Grim Reaper in the form of cancer doesn't seem to pay attention to that.

I was quite fond of Lee and I was sorry to see her leave First Unitarian Ottawa. I remember taking her to dinner to thank her for her service – we had just gotten to know her. She brought a warm and compassionate presence to our congregation and she was missed.

I first met Lee in the Mountain Desert District when I was in Laramie and she was serving in Idaho. Then we connected again in the interim ministry group. I am so sorry that UUs and the world have lost such a beautiful person.

My name is Gary Davis. I met Lee during her time here in Ottawa and we became friends almost immediately. I liked her strength and honesty. I was looking forward to much more contact with her over the years. I saw her a couple of times since she left and was hoping for more. Sad I am. All the best to her family.

We are so very sad to hear about Lee's death. It was a pleasure to get acquainted and work with her while she served at All Souls in Kansas City. We wish her family comfort and peace during these difficult days. Manny and Sara Pedram
