Not sure what to say?

Dr. Lee was my thesis advisor in the MS program in human physiology at Fairleigh-Dickenson University in the late'60s/early 70's. His patience, advice, and sense of humor with my rats in his lab made my graduate work possible and successful. So sorry I never saw this notice, now so long ago, yet I do, even now, feel the loss. I enjoyed his company, encouragement, and wisdom. Walt Pickut, Jamestown, New York.

Dear Hoffman Family,to Lee's wife and all the children -- I have known Lee since 1960; we were both residents at the Boston City Hospital. We shared patients off and on since then. He has consulted on many patients for me at the Boston City hospital and at the Baystate, and has referred many a patient to me for lung surgery over the years. We developed a close friendship and a special trust and appreciation for each other. At one time he took care of my mother during a brief hospitalization...

To the Hoffman Family,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy of your loss. Dr. Hoffman was our Mother's physician for many years. He was an incredable man. Very proffesional, direct, but, aslo, very gental. He was so respected by all of the staff of Bay State Medical. Our mother was always very proud to say "Dr. Lee Hoffman is my Doctor". He is truely the only doctor that helped her. And we were given many more quality years with her. For that we thank you. May God welcome you with open...

What a loss for the medical community. Lee was such a great doctor who gave so much to the world of medicine. His gentleness and committment to his profession and patients was unparelled but even more was his love, loyalty and committment to his family. His kindness and love carried over to his dogs as well. As a dog breeder, who was fortunate to place a dog with Lee and Karen, I marveled over the years at this committment. He always did what was best for the animal, even when the decisions...

My Condolences to the Hoffman family. I had the pleasure to get to know Dr Hoffman when I worked at Baystate Med Ctr. What a wonderful person! Loved to laugh, was especially fond of famous quotes of people, of which I shared the same interest. We would exchange these while working, & it made the day, & my life, a little more pleasant. We've lost a great man. Sincerely, Neil Fahey RN

My husband, 2 sons, daughter & myself were patients of Lee Hoffman. He was a gentleman that I was proud to also call friend. He will be sorely missed.

Our sincerest sympathy to the family of Dr. Hoffman. My husband was a patient of his in the CICU for six weeks. Dr. Hoffman would talk to me every day and keep me informed of my husband's progress. His kindness and compassion were deeply appreciated.
