Lee A. King, 68, died Monday, June 14, 2021 in Sikeston, Mo.  He was born September 23, 1952 in Sikeston, Mo. to the late Lee Andrew Bowden and Hazel King.


Lee Andrew was a graduate of Sikeston High School and was known and remembered for his excellent basketball skills.  He enjoyed fishing and playing the lottery.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Lee Andrew had owned and operated his own lawn care service.


He is survived  by three sisters, Joyce Bowden, Barbara Bowden and Lydia Yarber, whom he lived with and was cared for until his death.  Three brothers, Larry Johnson, Rodney Bowden, Donnie Bowden and Doug Bowden, and his only surviving aunt, Lorene King Yarber.  Also remembering his life and legacy is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, including special friends; Odell Howard, Gussie Whittaker, Senator Maida Harrington-Coleman, Edwin "Pope" Hunt and Pastor Undra West.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laurie Bowden. 


A visitation is planned for Saturday, June 26, 2020, 11am until 1pm at the Driver Funeral Home Chapel, 523 W. Murray Lane, Sikeston, Mo.
