To the Liddell family, Mr. Liddell
was my barber before he retired and he was also one of my biggest fans when I was in the car business. He introduced me to his son-in law Kent who worked at Ford Motor Company and I was the Liddell salesperson for many years. Beverly and Kent you have the prayers of my wife and I during this time of bereavement.

It was with much regret that I received notice of Mr. Liddell's passing. I have respected Mr. Liddell for a long time. He was always a shining beacon, particularly to the youth, in this city, and represented, to me, the highest ideals of familial strength and racial pride. My prayers and sincere thoughts go out to the family. God be with you all.
