Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Posey,
Thanks to what you and Mr. Posey have done with girls education I have the great opportunity to attend the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. I am thankful I had the opportunity to see you and your husband at our school and I hope you visit again soon. I am proud to be a member of the first graduating class at ARS, I will help keep you and Mr. Posey's dreams of a better education for young women alive as I succeed and continue through my education at ARS and then...

Lee Posey provided learning opportunities beyond the ordinary by encouraging single gender public schools in Texas. I only wish he could be here in person to see the fruit of this vision as The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders grows.

I wish his family many delightful memories as we all celebrate his life. It is clear his spirit contiues to enrich the work he started.

Grace and peace,
Glenda Adkinson
Interim Assistant Principal

My daughter is one of the fortunate beneficiaries of Mr. Posey's vision and generosity. May we all be worthy representatives of his tremendous legacy.

Lee Posey was one of the most powerful influences in my life, who continuously challenged me, caused me to focus with more intensity than I thought possible, and gave me the tough love I needed to become a better man professionally and personally, and drove me to achieve levels of excellence I did not realize I was capable of. Lee never had hidden agendas and was a man of strong opinions, and we disagreed often. Thank God for Larry Keener being a buffer between us long enough for us to...

Dear Mrs. Posey and family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers in this difficult time. Mr. Posey was a true visionary, and as a teacher at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, I will always be indebted to him for his generosity. Sincerely,

Lee left us on Leap Day, the day that aligns our calendar with the earth's rotations around the sun and, according to tradition, that women could initiate marriage proposals.
When I became the principal of the Ann Richards School, Lee became my sun and moon; I was dazzled by his smile, buoyed by his guidance and energized by his friendship. Lee also believed in the education and advancement of women as evidenced by his mentorship and generosity with individuals and schools. I'd say that...

Dear Posey Family,

Lee was an inspiration to many, and personally to my daughter Erin, and our family at the Ann Richards School in Austin. His vision for these girls will, without doubt, produce many confident, free thinking women in future years. We thank him.

Dear Mrs. Posey and Family,

Please accept my heartfelt prayers during your time of need. Mr. Posey's spirit will live on in the spirit of those who knew him on a daily basis: his family, his friends, his coworkers and especially the many single mothers (such as my daughter, Leigh Montoya) who were given an opportunity to improve their lives through employment and educational avenues provided by Mr. Posey and his philanthropic heart. God bless you all in your hour of...
