To the Prentice Family:

I was away last week on a cruise and was saddened to hear what had happened. Lee was a great guy and I am honored to have known him. He was a valued member of the Gene Dean Sr. Friday Night Golf league and a great competitor. He was in my weekend group at the Detective Bureau and a true professional at his craft. I am so sorry to learn of Lee's passing. I will always remember talking to Lee as he faithfully walked his dog around Westernview Circle. Elizabeth & Margaret, may the Lord always hold you & your Dad in the palm of his hands.

Lee may eternal light shine upon you, rest my friend until we meet again. As a retired police officer/chaplain with the Springfield Police Department I knew Lee well, and offer my sincere condolences to the Prentice family. Many of us were just informed of his passing at the retirement meeting of police & firefighters. They asked me to write to you offering our heartfelt sorrow.

My condolences to Lee's family and friends on the loss of a great guy. Lee was a wonderful golf partner and always had a kind word for everyone . I will miss him.
