Dear Gerry & all the Reiff family;
Thinking of you all & praying for you during this holiday season.
Love,
Nadalyn Miller

Dear Gerry and the Reiff Family, I am very sad to hear of Lee's passing and will always remember his humor, gentleness and amazing and precise intellect. During my years at Millsaps, he and Gerry gave me the kind of support and encouragement that changes a life. I have fond memories of my family and I visiting Lee and Gerry in NC on our way to Hilton Head. It must have been 1996. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

In gratitude for fellowship shared at Galloway Church and otherwise.

Dear Gerry and Family,

We are saddened to learn of Lee's passing. I have fond memories of you as neighbors back in Bakersville and reconnecting in NC when Lee married Zac and Christina. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Gerry and the family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I am so grateful to have had Lee as a colleague and friend. He taught me much about religion as a field of study when we were both teaching Heritage and about Christianity by his example. I owe him more than I ever adequately expressed.

I took Dr. Reiff's Old and New Testament classes at Millsaps and to this day forty years later, I can still remember some of his lectures. They were electrifying. His entire being exemplified what made Millsaps so special. I mourn him as he was part of my coming of age. Farewell Dr. Reiff and many, many thanks. My heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Reiff, Joe, Betty, and the entire family.

I was at Perkins for part of the time that Lee was there---we all knew he was the smartest one. He lived out his smart, his caring heart, and his cutting edge. We could all do more of the same.
