Not sure what to say?

My prayers and thoughts go to Kalem's family and friends during this deep loss. Like Guerrero, I had no knowledge of his fight with MS. Knowing Kalem from Northwest, I know he was a fighter, and a man with wonderful character. He will be missed, but he is now without pain and suffering;and his life lives on in each one of us he touched.

Fraternally, Brother Kalem,

Matt "Bobo" Borgard

I have lost touch with many of my college friends from the old Bearcat days, but was blessed and honored to have known Kalem for a few short years.I was unaware of his condition all this time and sadened to think I missed out on possibly being some kind of help for him,at the least to have prayed for him and his family for God's comfort and strength.I will now.Dave"Thunder"Guerrero

Dear Lettie & Bernice: So many years have passed. Kalen was dealt a bad hand in life but he had a great attitude. Hopefully the rest of us who knew him while he dealt with this can benefit from his courage. Lettie if you need anything please call me. I,m still at the same place. I know our lives have gotten busy, but I've missed my best friend. Love sharon.

I have many happy memories of Kalem from grade school to college. We had alot of laughs and fun. He was a great friend and has great friends. I am privaleged to consider myself his friend. Kalem and his family have been in my heart and my prayers most of my life. I will think of you often.
Your friend Mark Siemer
P.S. I am glad that we saved you from that water tower.

It is difficult to find words that express the sorrow, the sadness. I remember him from Chouteau Elementary school as well. It is truly a shame that he had to leave so soon.

It saddens me that Kalem is gone. Kalem was not only a friend but during the years that he worked with my husband, he was one of the finest employees anyone could want. Bill talked endlessly about what a great guy Kalem was, and of course I already knew this from his marriage to Jan, a close friend of our family. My husband Bill, is now in a condition much the same as Kalem's due to a stroke four years ago. Bill still talks about Kalem and I know we both think of him often. What wonderful...

When I think of Kalem it brings back memories of endless days of sandlot games. When the normal football or baseball got old we invented new games and kept playing. Time of day, season or year didn't matter.

Later, the Roger's Dodgers were a feared softball power in Clay County. You could always count on Kalem for a timely hit. Those were great years.

Kalem could run faster than anybody I knew. It was a natural gift that was taken from him much too soon. He now...

I was sorry to hear this. I have known Kalem since Kindergarten at Chouteau Elementary. We will remember him at our class reunion.
