Not sure what to say?

Alan and Family:

My deepest condolences for your loss. I knew Lee Ann from high school. She was a never ending source of light and encouragement to all around her. I was very involved in our local theater community growing up, and Lee Ann was a big part of that. But even more, for me personally, she helped bring ideas to life, always wanting to make the best of what was there. I will always love her for that. I still do theater, and I still write songs, and I can promise that...

Alan, I never met you, but I knew Lee Ann since she was about ten. I am a long time friend of her brother, Glenn, and lived three streets over from their Scotch Plains house. So, we spent many afternoons "hanging out" there. Lee Ann was always a cheerful, intelligent, funny and great younger sister to Glenn. I saw some of her displays of talent in high school and heard about them as the years went by.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was by all reports an outstanding woman.

Alan and children,
It is with great sorrow that I read of Lee Ann's passing. She and I taught together at Westfield, sharing a room and many of the trials and tribulations of young teachers. She truly gave her all to everything she did; to say that she will be missed is an understatement. Please accept my deepest condolences.
