Lee Martin Sharber

Lee Martin Sharber, age 44 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday July 13, 2014. He was a native of Rutherford County.

Mr. Sharber was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Martin Sharber and by a sister, Eva Faith Sharber.

Mr. Sharber is survived by his father and step mother, Leon and Nancy Sharber of Lascassas, TN; brothers, Mark Sharber and his wife Gwen, Kenneth Sharber, William Sharber, all of Murfreesboro, TN, Aaron Sharber and Jeremy Sharber, both of Lascassas, TN; sisters, Angela Sharber Leggs and Rachel Shannon, both of Murfreesboro, TN; nephews, Gray Sharber of Chattanooga, TN and Edison Shannon of Murfreesboro, TN; special friend, Leslie Johansen of Lascassas, TN

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Dr. George Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Military friends will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Mr. Sharber was a retired Major from the Tennessee National Guard after 23 years of service, and served three tours of combat duty including Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Bosnia/Kosovo and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
