Read MoreI met Lee several times at the Society of American Magicians meeting in Watertown. He was always enthusiastic about what he was working on in magic. He was proud that his father was a magician too. I enjoyed talking with him and he will be missed.

Mr. Smith was a favorite teacher of mine. I can still remember learning how to spell vacuum thanks to him. I enjoyed writing in his class and later became a journalist working in television news and documentaries.
He really brought great energy and humor to his classroom and will be missed.

I tried to find Lee a few years back. His commentwhen I was in high school about me writing professionally one day stuck with me my whole life. I'm a reporter now and wanted to tell him that but never got the chance. I just wanted his family to know that he made a difference and I'm sorry for your loss.
