Lee J. Theriot, Sr., 85, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passes away on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 and from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Homes, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA with burial to follow in Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA. He is survived by his son, Neil Theriot (companion Tracy); daughters, Veronica Thibodeaux (companion, Daniel), Cynthia Fondren (companion Mitchell), Star Theriot McKenna (companion Phil); brothers, Raileigh, Robert "Popeye", Rogers, Adam, Abel Theriot, Jr.; sisters, Beverly Chauvin, Nellie St. Pierre, Rose Theriot, Claudia Chouest; 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and 4 dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel Theriot Sr. and Nellie Orgeron Theriot; son, Lee J. Theriot, Jr.; son-in-law, Larry Fondren; grandchild, Billy Anthony Thibodaux; brother, Eugene Theriot; sisters, Mabel Rivet and Linda Theriot and 1 dog. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.

how you say good bye to someone that all ways be there for as long as you been a live, that love you ,was like your dad even when your own dad die he was there to hole you to like you know every thing be ok. now he with everyone up there to let them know every thing be OK with just a small or a look he has.god has him ,love you and miss you all was love Renee..

he was a happy uncle who laughed when we got into something and got caught by our mom's , the I told you so look and a smile

Sorry to the family for the loss of such a good man. I truly enjoyed knowing Uncle lee j and respect him for serving as a United States marine. He will be missed God Bless
