Not sure what to say?

It is with great sorrow that I just now learn of Dr. White's passing. He was such a great teacher who cared about his students and the subject of science. I will always remember him and his class fondly. May he rest in peace.

What an amazing, inspiring, awesome teacher and model of a man!!!! I still tell stories about all the model planes hanging from the ceiling in class. Rest In Peace!

Thank you, Dr. White, for being my favorite science teacher. Thank you for talking to me many times after class and encouraging me. Thank you for lending me your personal autographed books and sharing your flying days stories. Thank you for being part of the best year of my high school years. I always looked up to you and I always will.

While I'm saddened to hear of Dr. White's passing, I can't help but rejoice to learn that he lived such a long and storied life. I learned as much, if not more, about History in his Science class as I did in my History classes! Always so friendly, with a smile and a helping hand. I feel so fortunate that our lives' journeys crossed paths, even if it was just for one year of classes all those moons ago. Godspeed, Dr. White. Job well done, sir.

Respectfully,

Lori Burton

RIP Dr. White. You sir were a definite role model and someone I think of often. From serving in the military, your community and an amazing one of kind science teacher! I still to this day have fondness for airplanes and your stories. Thank you for all of your dedication. You made a major impact on my life and so many others. Fly high and gods speed Lt. Colonel. My heartfelt condolences to your family, friends and all the people that had a chance to know you.

Much love,

He was kind and caring. Such a sweet and humble person. It was an honor and a great blessing to have met such a exceptional human.

Rest In Peace Dr. White.
There was no other teacher like him. I greatly enjoyed his science class, he had a way of making it fun but also learning so much. I have missed him since I left Del Valle.

Dr. White was a wonderful, kind and patient teacher! I had him for Physical Science in 9th grade and I will always remember him! My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr. White was a great teacher & made an impact on many students at Del Valle High School, me being one of them. May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family.
