She made the best home-made Italian sauce and meatballs, and baked dozens of Christmas cookies and other delicious desserts. She was a fine seamstress and home decorator. Mom loved sports; especially baseball, football and basketball - both professional and college. I learned a lot from her and enjoyed our times together. Moms no longer here, but the wonderful memories remain with me.
