SCIOTOVILLE-Leeta June Stapleton, 80, of Sciotoville, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on February 28, 1936 in New Boston, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Goldie Rolfe Mathis and was a homemaker.

Well, what can one say about such a friend as Leeta? We didn't grow up together until our Junior High years in New Boston. We were thick as thieves and had so much fun together growing up! We were both
Tomboys! We rode our bikes, and climbed the hills in NB, and laughed out loud as we tried to outdo each other! I am so sorry that I did not learn about Leeta's death until today.I still have the scars from riding bikes together and crashing into something while we were having fun! This...

We would like to send our condolences to the family. We are in Florida & won't make the funeral, I'm Leeta's Brother & one of the best things about her is that she took care of her family & Always had a Very Good sense of Humor!! Love You Leeta ! Tom & Bev Mathis & Family.
