Leigh Ann DeWolf Eriks

I loved working with Leigh at CC and in the year following my departure where we discussed science and education. She was one of the kindest people I knew. She will be very missed. My heart goes out to all of those who loved her. I am so sorry.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Eriks for chemistry lab for three semesters at Hope. She was knowledgable, inspiring, gentle, and kind. She would sometimes read articles she found and I thought they were all quite wonderful. I am so sorry for your loss, she will be missed.

My wife and I send our prayers and thoughts to you during this difficult. We both knew Leigh from teaching at Catholic Central. She was such a gentle, compassionate person. The students loved her in the classroom, and I was always humbled by her affirming little notes and kind comments she expressed to me. In this Easter season, may the peace of the risen Lord be with you and your family.
