The Elms Funeral Home - Elmwood Park Obituary

Leilanie Cabacungan Arellano, a resident of Scottsdale AZ, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at the age of 48. She had a passion for helping others and worked as a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona. After pursuing her dual master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix, she started her own non-profit organization known as Inspirational Alignment Advocacy Foundation. Her humanitarian work will continue with the help of her only child, AJ Arellano, her siblings (Marizon, Adel, Rommel), and friends. She was known for her kind heart, her delicious Filipino cooking, and her beautiful smile. When she wasn’t at work, she loved to hike Camelback Mountain and travel the world.

Her body will be buried beside the graves of her parents in the Philippines. Due to the ongoing healthcare crisis and travel ban, the funeral service and burial will be done at a later date in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, her birthplace and the hometown she spent her childhood years. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in her home state of Arizona when it is safe to do so.

Memorial contributions in Leilanie’s name will go towards her foundation Inspirational Alignment at P.O. Box 944, Scottsdale, AZ, 85252, or at inspirationalalignment.com. Friends are encouraged to share stories and condolences on her memorial at www.elmsfh.com
