Kit. Marilyn and I share your grief in the passing of Leiper. Whether a project at
Castle Creek or a program at Link, the quiet mature guidance of Leiper made the effort run more smoothly. It was a pleasure to have known him.

Dear Mrs. Read, We are very sorry to hear about Leiper. Andy always looked forward to seeing the two of you at the Link Retiree Picnic at Chenango Valley State Park. Andy was very fond of Leiper and so sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Sincerely, Andy and Jo Perez, PO Box 373, Port Crane, NY 13833

Dear Kit,
I remember staying at your cottage on Cranberry Lake with my parents, Cork and Bernie Rockwell. You and Leiper were always so friendly and hospitable, and I was very sorry to hear from Dad that Leiper had passed away. My thoughts are with you.

Our thoughts and sympathy are with you Kit, Don and Doug on your sad loss. I first met Leiper in London in 1967 when he interviewed me for an engineering job with Link in Binghamton. Leiper was responsible for family's move to the USA,and for that we will always be grateful. Through visits to Castle Creek and Cranberry Lake and ham radio we stayed in touch. He became a mentor in ham radio for myself and many other friends. He will be missed.

Dear Kit,
I'm so sad to hear of the loss of your beloved Leiper. Whenever I hear Cranberry Lake, I think of you two out on the point. I had a great time there and have never been able to convince another chipmunk to eat peanuts in my lap. :) My heart goes out to you. Holly xo

I remember Leiper from his days at RadioShack in the early 1980's. He was one of the nicest persons I had ever met, and one of the brightest. If I remember correctly, his property encompassed the "Castle Creek" display on the hillside.
Rest in peace. Tim ... 30 year Radio Shack manager
