I REMEMBER MR. AND MRS. CLOSE AS A CHILD AT W. FLINT NAZARENE CHURCH. I REMEMBER I COULDN'T AFFORD TO GO TO CHURCH CAMP AND MRS. CLOSE MADE ME A DEAL, FOR EVERY DOLLAR I PUT IN THROUGH SUMMER JOBS SHE WOULD DOUBLE IT. THAT GRACIOUS MEMORY STILL REMINDS ME TODAY THAT THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE. TODAY BECAUSE OF HER TESTOMONY AND OTHERES LIKE HER I PASTOR A SMALL CHURCH, AND HAVE USED HER KINDNESS IN MANY SEMONS TO ILLISTRATE THE GOODNESS OF GODS PEOPLE. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED, THANK YOU MRS. CLOSE.

When we all get to Heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus,
We'll sing and shout the Victory!

I believe our earthly family will meet again with friends and love ones and they will be like old friends reuniting in Christ!

God bless you all through this tough time, just know that there is peace for us to!

I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank God for the life of Lela Close which traveled far into the future of her family. Raph was a great influence in Connie and Bob Coen in their early years of Christian faith. Lela had an influence that we also cherish. Thanks Ralph.
