Not sure what to say?

MJ and the Barton family;
Your father is at peace where he wanted to be, and knew until the end how much he was loved and admired by his family. MJ, you and your family are a perfect example of what he tried to teach all he reached. You do him proud!

To be with the Lord is the goal of every Chhristian Believer. Rev. Barton, I know you will make us feel welcome when we reach Heaven. To the family that I grew up with, I grieve with you, but yet am happy for Leland that he is Home.

To the Barton family,

Your father was an inspiration to all of us. Let us remember his good works and his incredible ability to reach out to others.

Dear Barton Family,
Your beloved Dad, Grandpa, friend to many, and faithful servant of our Lord, is now home with the God he loved, and served. It's been a joy to share so many wonderful stories about your Dad. MJ, he didn't get lost, he just took his last bus ride to Heaven!
May God Bless and comfort you.

I will fondly remember Gdpa Barton for his smiling whistle of amazement and approval when something worthy was achieved/accomplished. With deep Appreciation for his years of being a faithful family friend through four generations. A WHISTLE!!! earned. 1 Thessalonians 5:12 states it best of all.

MJ and the rest of the Bartons,

Sorry for your family's loss. Your dad was a special man and will certainly be missed by many. He is in a much better place.

Lots of Love.

Uncle Leland you will be missed. Your legacy is your children and family, and knowing your faith helped us through a tough time. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the family. love ya

What a legacy left to us, to keep "occupied" for the Lord by His grace and mercy. It's been a blessed privilege to benefit from his godly encouragements, prayers, unconditional love, honor and respect. We miss him dearly already but know he's experiencing the reality of Psalm 16:11 "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at the right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Dad
Heaven's gain is our loss. We are so happy that you were able to do your life's passion (serving others in the name of Jesus Christ) until the day you died.
We miss you but have your model of a life to seek after.
Love, Priscilla "your baby daughter"
