Not sure what to say?

When Harold entered the VA nurseing home Leland was the first person we met that we knew. Harold had known Leland for years as he too was in the insurance business. We miss him. We would look across the room at meal time and he would smile and wave to us and we would wave back. Then when he left the room we would have a few words together. He always smiled. We miss that. Harold and Mary Terry

Leland was a beautiful person. The short time I knew him at the A.G. Texas Veterans Home, he was a very kind person. I would visit his room mate William Hashman,my friend who sits with my father in law everyday to eat. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. Richard Balli

Wade had known Leland for years but I first met him after Wade and I married. We would get together for lunch with Wanda and Leland would come too. I really enjoyed listening to his WWII stories and about other parts of his life plus stories about Wanda and his wife. Wade and I will miss him very much. Our sincere condolences to his family. He talked about you all with a great deal of love.

We were sorry to have heard of Leland's death. He will be missed by all who knew him.
I missed having him to lunch. It has been years because of my health. I have no excuse for not have called him more often.
He was a joy at lunch with his broad smile, hugs and tales of his war experience.
Sorry that I was unable to attend the furneral. I would have loved to have seen Lynda, Frank, Perry and Peggy.
My thoughts were with them.
I will miss Leland
