Carol it was with a sad heart that I read of Nick's passing A bittersweet experience for sure. Bitter because you have lost a most caring husband and the children a wonderful Dad and for others who have lost a good friend. Sweet because of the great memories we will all have of Nick.
The fun times our families all had at Neskowin vacationing together, the pitch parties, beach fires with s'mores, horseback riding with the children and so much more.
Know that there are many prayers...

My sincere symphathy to the Chester family. Having grown up in Woodland, WA, Nick was someone I looked up to as he was a grade ahead of me. I saw Kay at the recent all-school reunion. In a home ec. class we had to take a "little one" to class and I borrowed Margaret. The Chester family was dear to me and I love to remember my Woodland "daze."

Dear Carol and all,
I have such good memories of visiting the Chester family as I was growing up. In recent years I've seen more of Kay, Jim and Lenna as we crossed paths in the Coachella Valley while escaping the winters in WA than of Nick. But I know that he will be missed by all of you.
