Not sure what to say?

Dad,
I will sorely miss you every day. You were here for me as I was there for you. Even though you were suffering from pain every day, I still love you for spending time with me. You were my only father. I remember you telling me how I gave you the best birthday present right after I was born. It was when I pulled the breathing tube right out of my mouth and started breathing on my own. I enjoyed all the times that we spent together, going fishing, especially in WA., riding the quads,...

Uncle Rick,
I remember as a kid how you would take Leland and I on dates so that your date would think you were a great guy. Little did you or your date know, that we thought you were the greatest. We got to go to Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm, the Beach, many an arcade and alot of dinners out. You were always more of a big brother than an uncle, and all of our friends wished they had someone like you to be there for them. We were very, very lucky to have you. Many, Many thanks for all...

Uncle Rick giving us a "It's gonna be alright." wink.

July 2008 Fishing in Chehalis, WA

Uncle Rick,
I was told that you taught me how to walk when I was a toddler. You have always been there for my sisters, my brother and I. We loved hearing your stories about when you were in the military. We loved spending time with you, you were like our big brother. You were like a big kid who took us to some really cool places like Disneyland, and our first scary movies. We had an awesome time fishing in Chahalis WA. last year for steelhead. We will always and forever charish...

Uncle Rick,

I have so many memories of you...most of them were when we were young. I remember the time we went to Farrell's and you had the trough with a big banana split. They came and banged on the big drum and gave you the trough and a ribbon to keep. That was a great day!
