Lee was a great teacher to me, and a wonderful friend. His work in our community leaves a legacy and sets an example for all to follow.

To Jo and members of the Johnson family, I offer my sincere condolences regarding Lee's passing. Lee and I crossed paths many times during the past decade as he actively role modeled a meaningful life of community service during retirement. His keen intellect, his concern for others and how he lived his faith within the community - all these were inspirations.
