Not sure what to say?

Leland Tann and his wife Helga were friends of me and my husband Mark Sturks. Tabb and he wee stationed together in Fulda 1st/ 11th CAV Black Horse. He was kind, generous , full of life and laughter. I just today learned about his passing. May he rest peacefully in heaven

I was just informed recently of Leland's passing. He was a great man full of life, laughter and vigor. When I was stationed in Hanau Germay he kept the sports community alive and fun. Always lending a helpful hand or tip to all the men and women who played any sports at any given time. My heart is hurting as I saw him about 2 years ago at Quantico prior to a basketball game in the gym. Truly a blessing to us all.

SGT Tabb was my 1st Tank Commander in Fulda.I will always remeber him asa kind and thoughtful man .While out on OP Alapha he was like a Father to us all kept us on the straight and narrow way. May he rest in Peace

I give my most heartfelt sympathy to Helga Tabb and the entire Tabb family. Leland and Helga were like parents to me and I felt like I was their daughter. They took me in when I left Fulda, Germany and returned to Columbus, Georgia to complete college. Leland, Helga, and I have a special bond that will never end. I know Leland fought a good fight. He was another soldier's soldier. Leland, I will miss you forever. I thank God for bringing both Leland and Helga into my life. They gave...

Leland was an extremely generous man. His love for sports was legendary. While stationed in Fulda, I called him from Hanau to see if he could bail us out and officiate a soccer game in one hour. Fulda was over an hour drive but he got there just moments after an hour. He kept his officiating gear in his Car. We were happy to repay him and hire him first in Outdoor Rec but shortly after as a Facility Manager in Sports and he did us proud. Leland left a true legacy with us.

I am very sad...

When you hurt, I hurt, especially in the passing of a loved one. I am happy to have known Snocky and trust he is with the Lord. My prayers are with his entire family.

Love, Diana

I am sure Leland is up in heaven tossing a football around and talking smack to someone. We will miss him!
