Not sure what to say?

Our dearest friend, and the warmest, gentlest, nicest and funniest guy we knew. Len had a store of jokes, and the appropriate dialect to go with each of them. He loved the one liners.
Len and Marita were the only couple we ever travelled with, as they were both interested and interesting, and so easy to be with. What a pleasure it was spending time with a couple who were not only happily married, but best friends as well.

We are having a hard time coming to grips with a reality...

Len was my mothers adored first cousin. When I was small we would go into NYC to see wonderful shows that he was in, which I believe were On or Off Broadway. I remember thinking that the audience were all friends and family of the actors. The audience were, of course, enthusiastic theatre goers and he had a delighted following. Len had a beautiful presence on stage and in life. He always lit up a room and made people feel special. I remember singing How to Succeed songs with him a few years...

I am so sorry to hear about Len. My mother Lois, Len's cousin, took us to his early stage performances and we routinely listened for his voice on radio and tv. We all enjoyed being with him and Marita whenever we could get together.

A multi-talented man who contributed so much to the American theater, he is best remembered for his kindness and generosity. Len will be missed by all who knew him.

He was such a lovely human and will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences.
