Not sure what to say?

I had just purchased an '89 Saleen Mustang (white w/gray wheels and decals). I inquired trading in my gray wheels for white as Lenny had on his '87 Saleen. Due to the front and rear wheels having different offsets, they would only be able to sell the wheels to another Saleen owner. As I was leaving, Lenny asked if they were able to help and I said no but I completely understood. He gave me a small manila envelope containing 4 Saleen center cap decals which my wheels were lacking. Later, I...

We had the pleasure of knowing Lenny for the past 15 years - first as a customer in our antique store, Le'Stuff Antiques in Hillsboro. We hit it off quite well as we shared many of the same interests and we loved to find him a special treasure for his collection. Later he became a dealer in our mall - because as you know - Len was not only a good buyer but a great wheeler dealer selling as well. When he moved to Sisters to build his dream home - he opened up his own shop full of his...

We met Len several years ago and always enjoyed our visits. He was a Member of the Wild West History Association and we enjoyed seeing him at the yearly "Rendezvous". His Antique shop contained a spectacular collection of authentic items from the Old West. We had the honor and pleasure to be invited to his beautiful home where we met his lovely wife Anna. He then very proudly gave us the grand tour and what a treat that was! All of his treasures where displayed beautifully. We will miss...

I've known Lenny since 2007 when he started Old West Collectibles two streets north of the main drag in Sisters. At that time he wasn't married, but he eventually married Ruthie (who died a few years ago). Now he is married to Anna, whom I met at the old store and told him that he should marry her, and he did. Over the years I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of books and other antiques from him. But my favorite purchase was his silver MB E420 Sport (probably the last car he drove...

We knew Len first as a collector. Later, like everyone else who ever met Len, we became friends. His great sense of humor and smile were famous.
His love and knowledge about antiques guaranteed that a visit to his antiques shop guaranteed a half day of "oohs" and "aahs". The quality and rarity of his merchandise was an incredible treat--made even better when he shared the stories of acquiring those items.
Parkinson's disease was an annoyance, but did not lessen his enthusiasm...

I loved to talk to Lenny when my husband and I would stop in Sister. He was so passionate and knowledgeable about history and it was a pleasure to have known him. He was a wonderful man.

Was so sorry to hear of Len's passing. He was always so fiercely alive and sharp. He will be missed. I worked with him as a personal trainer while he lived in Portland. We of course became friends and I got to visit him once in his amazing and gorgeous home. He was so proud of what he had accomplished in his life, be it his success in tires or his western memorabilia. He particularly loved the mysteries he solved of that bank robber. Amazing guy, faithful friend.

Condolences to all of the Gratteri family.

Dear Ken and Sandy,

We send our sympathy in the loss of your brother. He sounds like he was a very special man and I'm sure he will be missed by many.

Sincerely, Andy and Char Eldien
