Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Thompson Hailey will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Bro. Gary Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Belah Cemetery in Belah, La. under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena. The family request that visitation be observed on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Hixson Brothers in Jena.

Mrs. Thompson, 95, of Jena, Louisiana was born on March 4, 1922 in Jena and passed from this life on January 1, 2018 in Jena.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Mark Hailey of Campti, Raymond Hailey and wife, Teresa of Glenrose, TX; daughter, Ruth Hailey of Gardner, 24 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Hailey, son, Jackie Roy Hailey, daughter, Linda Racouly, parents, Joseph David and Mattie Hailey Whatley, brothers, James G. Whatley and Archie L. Whatley.
