Lena Meijer

My mother and I were talking about the times we met Mrs. Meijer. We each had been at different outings , and we were talking about how sweet and interesting she was to talk to. I looked her up online and we were saddened to learn of her passing earlier this year. As a former Meijer employee, I treasured the times that I met Mr. and Mrs. Meijer and it made a lasting impression. I´m very sorry for your families loss she was an amazing lady.

Condolences to the Meijer family on this loss. She must have been a wonderful woman to have raised such a kind and generous family. They say that "by their fruits, ye will know them"; and by her fruits, it is clear what a great woman Lena Meijer was and how great her loss is.

My deepest sympathies to Hank, Doug, Mark and the Meijer family. I look back with fondness on my days spent working as a photographer at Meijer and my close interaction with all the family. It was always a pleasure to work with Fred and Lena as they were always so warm and welcoming. I miss them both.
