Not sure what to say?

Many years have gone by since my mom´s passing. Thank you to all for the kind words. I wanted to let all who had her as a teacher that you were indeed more than students. She genuinely cared for each and every one.

I just learned of Mrs. Ruby's passing. She was a wonderful lady and an excellent teacher. Whatever i know or retain about the proper application of English grammar i owe to one person .... Mrs. Lena Ruby at Clay Jr High School in the early 70's. She was a magnificent lady, insisting on excellence, and always inspiring her students to be their very best. She was always helpful and very kind. I have been blessed to know her and to have been one of her students. I will never EVER...

Mrs. Ruby was my favorite teacher ever. She awakened in me a love of words which has stuck with me to this day. My first job out of college was as a curriculum editor, and today, in addition to my job as an accountant, I am on the nonfiction editorial staff of Tyndale House Publishers. I owe this to Mrs. Ruby, and will always remember her with great appreciation and affection. Cathy, I'm so sorry for your loss. (Class of '75)

Mrs. Ruby was one special lady and made a positive impact on my life! Like others, she was also my favorite English teacher. After I moved from Clay in 8th grade, we kept in touch by exchanging Christmas letters for the last 42 years. You mattered to me.
I will miss you.
So sorry for your loss, Cathy. Mommas are special.
Much Love

So sorry for your loss, Mrs Ruby was a very special teacher. I will always remember her. R.I.P Mrs Ruby.
Daniel Justice Clay High School 1962

Like many others I remember Mrs. Ruby as a pretty, pleasant, excellent teacher. She was so nice to everyone and made learning easier, too. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Absolutely my favorite Jr. High School teacher and I loved speaking to her when I would take a walk down her road. She truly did encourage us all to make out lives better by getting our education.
