Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ratassepp came to my parents' dairy ranch in Orland in the mid-1960s to give me organ lessons in my teenage years. Years later I took pipe organ lessons in Madison WI as an adult, and later took piano lessons at age 45. Now in retirement, I'm taking bluegrass banjo lessons. Lena was a great foundation-builder in the musical lives of many young people! -- Jeanette Holz, Madison WI

Mrs. Ratassepp was one of my piano teachers. I went to on to major in music and become a music teacher also.
I remember her black car...
And all those "look and listen" books!
Rest well Mrs. R.

As the years have passed, I no that I have no musical talet. How ever Mrs. Ratassepp never let on. She was patient and loving. A very happy memory having piano lessons from her. There will be music in heaven.

Mrs. Ratassepp was such an important part of my life. She was my patient piano teacher who helped to make music an essential element of my being. My mother, Bette Schmidt, was thrilled to see her when she entertained at the retirement home in which she resided in Lodi. The other retirees were so impressed that she was friends with a "celebrity" in their midst.

Mrs. Ratassep (Woodmansee) was my first and only piano teacher when I was young. I will never forget her. What a sweet lady. Rest in peace. Pat Mullanix, Orland.
