Read MoreI always remember Leni's smile and iron-clad determinism. As a young man she made you feel like you could accomplish anything you set your mind to. She was an optimist and exuded a standard of excellence in everything she pursued. She was incredibly hospitable when we would come over and I have fond memories of our church youth group hanging out. I look forward to our reunion in heaven and praise the Lord He put her in my life.

I had the privilege of meeting Leni at KDH. She was the epitome of what a nurse should be. I learned much from her during late night codes in the ER--her calming voice, yet strong leadership made me a better nurse. Prayers to her family
