So sad to hear that my sweet friend, Lenora, has left this earth. Her joy and determination were contagious and unsurpassed by any I have ever know even though her life was filled with illness. She went to my church in NJ and helped plan my wedding shower. We were both teachers and had children around the same time in life and stayed in touch all these years. I’m so glad she isn’t suffering any more, but my heart is sad because such a beautiful person has left this earth. Prayers for comfort...

I have known Lenora and her extended Cordray family all my life. While seven years her junior, I recall her teen years as an athlete and good student. She had a combination of the Cordray and Clements work ethic which served her well in all her endeavors. She was a good example as she worked through the tumultuous times of the late 60's and 70's as a student. She was faithful to her Lord, family, and friends while battling cancer, which she never allowed to define her. During our adult lives...

Tribute to Lenora Austin

Lenora has been a great friend since the mid 1980’s, and is absolutely the strongest person I ever knew. I was her pastor’s wife when she and Larry were newly married and living in Edison, NJ. My husband, George, preached Sara Anne’s funeral in 1991 and Larry’s funeral I n 1999. Ironically, she died on George’s birthday, 9-11.
